Introduction
The environmental problems are classical issues that always continue to roll over until now. A lot of efforts have been done by many agencies, institutions and organizations to provide the solution for these issues, meanwhile the environmental problems still, are like snowball, getting bigger by the time and also the world population. The main challenge faced by Indonesia today is how to solve environmental problems.
This become a great challenge for scientists to againts on these natural science problems and solves many global issues that already happened today. To find the solution of these challenges, the Association of Indonesian Students of Chemistry (HIMKA Unand) on October 8th, 2011, will hold an international seminar with the theme: “Environment- Based Sciences Research for a Better Life”. Seminar will be held in partnership between IKA-HIMKI Indonesia and the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA University of Andalas. This seminar also includes the Annual Meeting of IKA-HIMKI INDONESIA.
International Seminar ISES2011 is expected to be a medium of communication and information exchanges, particularly in the progress of researches and developments of science to give a new breakthrough for solving environmental problems to create a better environment atmosphere at the future age.
We hope that you will participate in this exciting event and meet up with fellow scientists from overseas and Indonesia.
This purposes of ISES 2011 are:
- As a medium to exchange information and experience in research and development of science for solving environmental problems.
- Providing solutions to environmental problems for the world generally, particularly in Indonesia.
- Providing an alternative natural resource development based on environmental science.
- Building a new paradigm in the world community about appropriate technologies that are environmentally friendly.
- Increase the sense of responsibility and dedication to the future for world.
- As a medium to improve human resources, especially in the research of science
- Gathering the ideas to answer the challenges of nature.
- As a medium for the publication of research in various sciences and technology
This international seminar ISES2011 consists of three forms of activities, namely:
- Planery Session: Paper Presentation Key / Key Note Speaker
- Paralel Oral Presentation Papers
- Poster Presentations
